BOB INFANTINO

Fascinated by the escape act of Harry Houdini, BOB INFANTINO began doing escape magic at the age of ten. This self-taught illusionist honed and perfected his craft for the next eight years by doing free neighborhood shows. By his first year in college, he was already a seasoned performer. He has appeared extensively in the New York area, playing every venue from colleges to all the top comedy clubs.

In spite of a strenuous work schedule, Bob finds time to volunteer locally in his community.  Some organizations he's lent his time, energy and money to are:

Bob has a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Community Health.
Bob worked as a Recreational Therapist helping physically and emotionally challenged adults.

Since 2000, Bob created and performed three educational school shows:

1- The I Love Reading Show - A magic and juggling show for elementary schools that teaches students the importance of reading and his love of books.

2- The Magic Is You - a magic and juggling show that teaches elementary school students about self-esteem, positive thinking, healthy eating, appreciating our differences, how to be successful, and more.

3- The Magic of Circus - A magic and juggling show with 4 or 5 hands-on workshops teaching elementary school students eye/hand coordination through the teaching of juggling skills

Since 1984, Bob averaged approximately 25 shows per month.  Many were fund raisers and free shows for hospitals, schools, and libraries.  Many times he gave his time for hospitalized or sick children.

Bob has received numerous letters from teachers, principals, assistant principals, presidents of local organizations praising his work in delivering educational shows, healthy messages, the raising of funds for charities, and bringing joy and happiness to thousands upon thousands of families in the tri-state area.

Bob spent almost ten years teaching magic in after-school programs for little or no money.  The schools would request his services year after year.

Bob spent approximately eight years performing in clubs, theaters, coffee houses and comedy clubs.

He has spent approximately six years performing in restaurants where he brought much joy and happiness to countless families and helped each restaurant bring in new customers and increase their revenue.

Finally an entertaining magic and juggling show that educates as well!
The "I Love Reading" Show is a wonderful show that promotes reading and a love for books.
Bob discusses his favorite books and why they're special.  Each book is then shown to be magical in a real way!
Students will be thrilled to see their favorite books come to life through magic and special effects.
Geared toward kindergarten through 6th grade.  Laughter, magic, juggling, and a love for reading
make this show a hit with students, teachers, and principals alike.

The Magic Is You

"The Magic Is You" is a mind-boggling variety show
that combines magic, juggling and comedy
that helps students (K-6) feel great about themselves.
All the routines involve the students and help raise their level of confidence.

-that safety in recreational activities builds confidence in that particular activity
