DOTS IMPOSSIBLE ~ Take two Blank Faced Playing Card (see Magic Tricks section) and glue them back to back. With a black marker, draw in the dots as in Fig.1. Place your fingers over the bottom dot (Fig.2), show the card and say, "One dot." Turn the card over, put your fingers on the blank space (Fig.3) and say, "Three dots." Turn the card over, put your fingers over the middle dot and say, "Four dots." Turn the card over, put your fingers over the blank space and say, "Six dots."
THE BROKEN TOOTHPICK ~ Place a toothpick on a handkerchief. Fold the handkerchief, feel for the toothpick, and tell your friends to listen for the "snap" as you break the toothpick. SNAP! Everyone sees, and hears you do it. You then open up the handkerchief and show the toothpick is unharmed. HERE'S HOW: Prepare this trick by placing a toothpick inside the hem of the handkerchief. This hidden toothpick is the one you break, leaving the original toothpick unhurt. By placing more t han one toothpick in the hem, you can repeat the trick again.
APPEARING MONEY Open a book and place four coins on it as in Fig.1. Tell someone that you will pour the coins into their hands, but when you do, the coins will double in quantity. You pour the four coins in their hands and when they open them, there are eight coins. HERE'S HOW: Before the show, hide four coins inside the spine of the book (Fig.2). Close the book and the coins are secured, open the book and the hidden coins will slide out, joining the four original coins in your friends' hands.
APPEARING RABBIT Every magician must have a rabbit to make his/her show complete. Here's how to produce one of your own. All you need is a bright light, a blank wall, and your hands. Lock your little fingers together, and don't let go. Now place the backs of both hand s upon each other. Position your fingers as shown and hold your hands before a light.
